Senior Work Off Tax Reduction Program
The Town of Berlin offers seniors and veterans the opportunity to earn a property tax reduction by working for the Town through the Senior and Veteran Tax Work-Off Program.
Eligibility:
Must be a senior or veteran.
Must own and occupy the home where the tax credit is applied.
Benefit:
Earn up to $1,875 per fiscal year (125 hours at $15/hour, based on the 2023 Massachusetts minimum wage).
Additional Notes:
This program is in addition to any other tax abatements or exemptions for which you may qualify.
